The relationship to Uppsala Art Museum since early childhood and the staircase as an “in-between space” with a unique acoustics has inspired this sound installation, which was made specially for this setting. Klara Lewis works with field recordings amongst others and creates a mixture of organic and synthetic sounds. She is a critically acclaimed sound sculptress and has for the last two years been presenting her audio-visual shows in clubs and art galleries around the world.
Premiere of the sound art work commissioned by Uppsala Art Museum. Shows during the museum’s opening hours.

Uppsala Konsert & Kongress
Uppsala spelning & Kongress (förkortat UKK) är enstaka konsert- samt konferensbyggnad inom kvarteret Gerd vid Vaksala torg inom Uppsala angående totalt 14&#; m². Den officiella invigningen av huset ägde boende lördagen den 1&#;september Byggprojektet hade föregåtts av ett lång samt engagerad politisk debatt inom Uppsala kommun.[1] Innan konserthuset byggdes samt fick sitt nuvarande namn kallades detta ofta på grund av Musikens bostad, vilket existerar fortfarande vanligt att detta kallas inom folkmun.[2][3]

Revolve Performance Art Days Uppsala May
Programme
Revolve Performance Art Days is a new festival for performance art in Uppsala with a focus on the genre’s specific power to act in the here a now. The festival aims at gathering and presenting a richness of expressions and artistic strategies dealing with the ephemeral nature of performance, while having the capacity to challenge, enrich and contradict each other. 14 internationally active artists and groups have been invited to participate, with the festival taking place in a variety of settings. Revolve highlights performance art that courageously and playfully challenges its own medium and politics. The program is multifaceted and discusses what it means to be human from a social and existential angle.
